Audio Visual Pre Sales Engineer

Is this the role for you?

As the Audio Visual Pre Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by providing technical expertise and support to the sales team and customers. You will be responsible for understanding clients' Audio Visual requirements, designing customised solutions, and effectively communicating their value proposition. Acting as the bridge between clients and our sales team, you'll communicate effectively, creating detailed system designs, compiling comprehensive bills of materials, and providing the verbiage and visuals essential for crafting compelling proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales personnel, AV engineers and clients, including site visits when required, to assess project information and requirements.
• Support the sales team by providing technical assistance in the creation, qualification, and validation of proposals.
• Design and document customised AV solutions, including an accurate BOM, that not only meet the specific client needs, but ensure optimal performance and functionality.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify sales opportunities, providing technical expertise throughout the sales process.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and capabilities of our solutions.
• Customer facing technical presales support.

To be successful in this role:

• Proven ability in delivering Audiovisual and/or ITC designs
• High level of competency with the following software
• MS Office suite {Microsoft O365 Business) - including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive and Share Point
• Visio and/or CAD
• Professional PDF editing application (Bluebeam, Adobe or similar)
• At least 3-years' experience in a similar role
• At least 5-years' experience in commercial AV/ITC integration
