About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Audiometrist who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team providing audiometry services to clients in an occupational health setting. This opportunity is an ongoing part time position working attractive hours – typically rostered 8:30am-4:30pm or 9:00am-5:00pm with no weekend work. We are looking for either three or four days a week primarily working at Elizabeth with the fourth day being at Gillman, if an additional day is preferred. The opportunity to deliver on-site audio services, at client premises, is available if our preferred candidate is interested.
This role reports to the Clinical Manager, Nursing and is responsible for conducting audiometric tests in accordance with CHG protocols and the relevant Australian standards for occupational audiometry.
Working as part of a busy treatment room you will be upskilled to provide various services across the day. This may include the provision of initial screening for Pre-Employment Medicals such as height, weight, vision and UDS, full training will be provided.

Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position you must have obtained a Tertiary qualification in Audiometry (or be working towards one). You must be willing to participate in various police checks as required by our clients and have a current clean Drivers Licence. The successful candidate will be based at Elizabeth but be willing to travel to our other clinics at Mile End and Gillman to cover absences on occasion.
A positive outlook and flexible approach is essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of infection control, quality assurance systems and have experience in Audiometry.
