Role Profile:
As an experienced Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the external audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering high-quality audit services across a broad client base. You will lead a team of auditors, manage client relationships, and provide strategic insights to improve audit practices. Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion.
- Oversee the execution of audit procedures, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored audit solutions.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Review audit workpapers and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and assess areas of risk, implementing effective audit strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in auditing standards, applying this knowledge to enhance audit practices.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and clients in a clear and concise manner.
Successful Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
- 5+ years experience in internal audit and currently in a leadership/managerial role
- Strong understanding of auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
