Ethos BC are excited to partner with a leading engineering consultancy focused on renewable energy projects across ANZ. With some major projects in the pipeline, they're currently looking for Power Systems Engineers and Senior Power Systems Engineers to join their team in Brisbane.
About the Role
- Conduct detailed Power system studies, including load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, and transient stability analysis
- Design and optimize power distribution systems, including substation layout, protection schemes, and switchgear selection
- Develop models and simulations to analyze the integration of renewable energy sources into existing Power systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Power system designs meet project requirements and industry standards
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept to commissioning and beyond
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Power system technology, and apply this knowledge to improve our offerings and services
About You
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years' experience in Power Systems Engineering, Modelling or Analysis
- Proficiency in Power system analysis software such as ETAP, PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory etc.
- Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C/C++
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
