As an Audit Manager you will manage and resolve technical accounting issues, ensure compliance with standards, oversee multiple audit engagements, and support business development while training and mentoring the audit team
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing audit assignments
- Prepare work papers, financial statements and reports
- Review audit work
- Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards
- Analyse audit and accounting challenges
- Summarize key engagement areas for the partner
- Maintain relationships with clients and ensuring that their needs are met
- Ensure high-quality completion of assignments within budget and deadlines
- Document audit tests and findings for significant and complex audit areas
- Support partners in business development
- Manage and coordinate the audit team, including training and mentoring
- Relevant Tertiary degree with an Accounting Major
- Completed CA
- Must be Permanent Resident / Australian Citizen. Working Holiday visa also welcome to apply.
- 5+ years of audit experience
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Prior experience with relevant Australian legislation
- Experience with business development initiatives desired
