A leading consultancy in the Risk Consulting division is seeking a motivated Melbourne-based Internal Audit Senior Manager. The ideal candidate shares a passion for client service and values a positive work culture.
About This Role
- Requires an experienced Internal Audit professional.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and conducting a wide range of audit and risk services.
- Ideally has worked in the financial services industry or with large/listed organisations.
- Strong knowledge of Internal Audit standards, risk and controls practices, and methodologies.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead risk advisory services and Internal Audits for a range of clients.
- Prepare audit plans, manage audits, and communicate with Audit Committees and senior executives.
- Collaborate with Partners and Directors on business development and thought leadership.
- Mentor and develop team members.
- Build successful client relationships with a positive attitude and agility to multitask.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of Internal Audit and risk experience, preferably in financial services or a Big 4 environment.
- CA or other relevant qualifications such as IIA preferred.
- Excellent technical knowledge and business acumen to provide practical client solutions.
- Organised, efficient, and detail-oriented.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
