- Conduct financial statement audits in compliance with international and Australian Audit and Accounting Standards.
- Perform senior-level financial statements and statutory audits.
- Engage in external audits as needed within the audit and assurance team.
- Enhance technical knowledge to stay updated with the latest standards.
- Actively supervise and mentor junior and intermediate auditor staff, setting professional standards and behaviours through discussions and process reviews.
Qualifications/Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
* Previous local experience in a similar role is a requirement, with a focus on external audit
* Completed or working toward CA ANZ or CPA accreditation.
* Thorough understanding of external audit processes (Australian Audit and Accounting Standards)
* Profound knowledge of contemporary external audit principles and standards.
