We service a wide range of clients from small to medium size businesses, to public and private corporations, with both domestic and international operations and not-for-profit entities.
The opportunity
We are currently have an opportunity for an audit trainee to join our close-knit team, on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with all phases of the audit engagement from planning and field work, to completion
- Liaising directly with a broad range of clients
- Evaluating and documenting the internal controls of clients
- Reviewing and preparation of financial statements and key documentation
- Preparing audit reports
You will also be involved with:
- Preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies
- Liaise with the ATO and ASIC on client compliance matters
- Ad hoc client reporting and projects
- Assisting with operational related tasks
The successful applicant will:
- Have a minimum of 1-2 years business services experience in a professional accounting firm.
- Be currently undertaking a relevant tertiary education and/or working towards CA/CPA membership.
- Knowledgeable and familiar with office applications such as Microsoft Office, Teams.
- Familiar with accounting software MYOB, Xero, Quickbooks, Handisoft, BGL or similar is highly desirable
