Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and manage day-to-day litigation cases in Queensland state Courts and Tribunals.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of junior solicitors, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Collaborate closely with Partners to ensure strategic litigation planning and execution.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, ensuring high-quality legal service.
- Lead trial preparations and represent clients in court with excellent presentation and argumentation.
- Engage in business development activities to expand the firm's client base and strengthen relationships.
- Minimum of five years of post-qualification experience in construction law litigation.
- Proven track record of managing complex litigation cases.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring junior staff.
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle complex legal challenges with professionalism and composure.
- Commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
