AddressVC Maintenance is part of the Vassallo Group of companies which have been providing services in the Mackay region since 1997.
VC Maintenance’s focus is on maintaining our own light vehicle, highway truck, Quarry processing, earthmoving and civil equipment fleet as well as providing high quality repairs and services for external clients.
The Positions
We are excited for the opportunity to offer an Auto Electrician position in our team based out of our Mackay Northern Beaches workshop. For an immediate start we are looking for a Auto Electrician with a “Can do” attitude and a passion for all things auto electrical.
The role on offer is a field service role with a work Ute supplied looking after our light vehicle, highway truck, Quarry processing, earthmoving and civil equipment fleets. With your choice of either working Monday to Friday or a 9-day fortnight roster.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on light vehicle, highway truck, Quarry processing, earthmoving and civil equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal reliability.
- Be able to troubleshoot and identify technical issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Applicants must have the following:
- Trade qualified.
- Hold a current Australian Driver’s license and be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of maintaining light vehicle, highway truck, Quarry processing, earthmoving or civil equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Refrigerant handling license (desired but not essential)
- A valid HC Driver’s Licence (desired but not essential)
As part of the recruitment process for this role you may be required to complete a pre-employment medical, inclusive of laboratory drug and alcohol screen and complete a criminal history and qualification checks.
