Auto Technician

The successful candidates will possess the following:

• Qualified and experience as an automotive mechanic (3 years minimum)
• Diagnostic experience
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• A/C licence would be advantage but not essential
• Current full drivers’ licence

  Responsibilities:

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning in a timely manner
• Communication with 2iC and Service Manager
• Road test vehicles when required
• Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer, as well as ensuring customers vehicle is kept clean
• Ensure that required documentation is completed and accurate
• Reports machine defects and malfunctions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about our industry
• Ensure that workspace is kept clean, and equipment and tools are kept in good condition and stored properly
• Monday to Friday plus 1 on 2 off Saturdays
