As an Auto Masters Mechanic you will be part of our workshop technical team and will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing company and customer vehicles using your expert skills and knowledge of light vehicles.
This role would suit a mechanic that is wanting to progress in their career.
About you:
- Cert III or higher qualification and as a Light Vehicle Mechanic
- Have experience as a Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic in a workshop environment
- Strong ability to produce a high standard of work within a fast-paced environment.
- A Team player with a desire to grow and develop a rewarding long-term career.
- Results driven with strong eye for detail & technical/mechanical ability
- Positive calm demeanour, punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills both oral & written.
- Reliable, conscientious, adaptable and customer focused
- Knowledge and operation of all relevant Health & Safety regulations
- Valid Full Manual Drivers Licence essential
- Be available to work rotational Saturdays
- Providing expert advice in relation to mechanical condition of vehicles
- Mechanical vehicle repair and servicing including engine, transmission, body, and suspension components
- Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to the Service Manager and recording information using service reporting systems
- Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to return of vehicles to the customer
- Always maintaining a safe working environment
- Other general workshop duties where required
- Hourly rate up to $45 per hour (dependant on level of experience)
