About the Role – Tyre / Wheel Alignment Technician
JAX Tyres & Auto Kwinana are seeking an experienced Tyre / Wheel Alignment Technician to join their growing team. In this role, you will identify and rectify faults found in customer tyres such as wear and punctures through fitting, rotating, balancing, Wheel Alignments general tyre repairs.
You will be working in a well-equipped and organised workshop, closely alongside your service advisor, head motor mechanic, motor mechanics and wheel aligners to deliver an industry leading level of customer service.
Your main day-to-day tasks would include.- Perform repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on customer tyres and vehicles.
- Identifying faults relating to vehicle stability and tyre wear.
- Performing all tasks relating to tyres and wheel/suspension services that JAX Tyres & Auto provide.
- Provide professional advice and report potential hazards and dangerous risks found on customer vehicles and tyres.
- Safely Operating hoist and conducting road tests as required.
- Preferably 2 or more years’ experience as a Tyre Technician.
- Preferably 2 or more years’ experience as a Wheel Aligner
- Excellent communication skills, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, but also unsupervised.
- MUST be physically fit and able to carry out day-to-day tasks.
- Knowledge WHS practices
- MUST be experienced and knowledgeable in the automotive and/or tyre industry.
