Join Thales Australia's Mulwala facility as an AutoCAD Drawing Team Leader
Reporting to the Capital Projects Manager, you will provide leadership, mentoring and technical expertise to the drawing office team, who prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, layouts and sketches to support the maintenance, production and project sections of the Mulwala site.

Responsibilities:
Actively participate in design planning meetings, design reviews and other project meetings as required / tasked
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for product, tooling, gauges, plant and equipment, P&IDs, site facilities and services.
Maintain and revise existing drawings and process design change documents and document control via configuration management system.
Adherence to Thales quality system requirements and ensuring drafting standards are followed; AS1100 & Thales specific requirements.
About You:
Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD design using current Autodesk software – AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault etc.
Competence in applying Australian Drawing Standard AS 1100 and geometric tolerances.
Experience in use of computer based library systems and ability to interpret and analyse drawings and technical documents.
Intermediate / Advanced working knowledge of the principles of configuration management.
Effective communication both written and verbal.
