Automated Packaging Machine Operator

Ki Carma Garden Products is seeking a highly motivated person who has experience in Automated Packaging Lines to join our team located at our Victorian site in Dandenong South. Ki Carma produces a wide range of products including soils, mulches, sands, gravels & decorative stones across Australia.

The person we are seeking is someone who enjoys a challenging, varied role and can work well as part of a team.  Your time will be valuable as you multi-task your way through the day. As our machines are not common in Australia we understand you may not have specific experience on the exact machines, however, you will be willing and wanting to learn.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Reporting to the Site Manager
• Manning our Automated Packaging Lines (supported by the Site Manger and another Employees)
• Equipment management and maintenance
• Follow WHS systems
• Be involved in month end stocktake and stock management
• Be mechanically minded, need to inspect Packaging Machinery daily and record & report faults
• Forklift work will be required to move pallets off the line and around the yard
• Occasional loading of pallet onto trucks via forklift

In order for Ki Carma to consider your application, you will ideally have the following criteria:

• Automated Packaging Lines experience/knowledge (an advantage but not essential)
• Forklift license
• Good communication
• The ability to understand and follow direction
• Be reliable and dedicated to your role within the team
• Driver's License and reliable vehicle or transport
• Experience in operating for Front End loader/Telehandler (an advantage but not essential)

Salary remuneration will be discussed after the interview process and reference checks, as it can range depending on the applicants experience and work history.
