The Automation and technology Machinery Specialist is a key member of the Site management team, based in Albury.
The Automation and technology Machinery Specialist role will be a hands on operational role, with responsibility for all Tomra machinery across 3 sites located in Altona, Laverton and Albury. Primary responsibility for the Tomra, planning and execution, ensuring the smooth commissioning, and ongoing operation including preventative and emergency maintenance
Training of systems Maintenance teams in the safe and effective use of the robotic system
Ensuring adherence to WHSE standards throughout all the phases
Strategic and tactical responsibility for implementing engineering strategy with focus on quality, cost and delivery, maximising efficiency, optimising and driving engineering excellence.Implement and manage continuous improvement principals
Driving a culture of preventative maintenance culture on site from day one
Ensuring reliability and maintainability of the Tomra is at or above target levels
Reporting of maintenance and performance of the Tomra machine
Conduct root cause analysis and investigations of safety incidents
Implement appropriate management systems
