Join a leading statutory agency in the Defence portfolio as a Software Tester (Automation), contributing to Australia's defence against global threats through software testing of internet-facing web applications within an agile multi-disciplinary delivery team.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Test Case Development: Develop test cases and supporting data using provided specifications to ensure comprehensive coverage of user stories and requirements.
• Test Execution: Execute tests to analyse behaviour, functionality, and integrity of systems or software against project requirements.
• Reporting and Analysis: Report on progress, defects, risks, and issues, and provide analysis of system quality and test case metrics.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing standards and best practices.

 
 
Essential:

• Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to engage effectively with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements and describe gaps and issues.
• Test Case Development: Prior experience in analysing business requirements, writing detailed test cases, and ensuring comprehensive coverage of user stories.
• Defect Reporting: Experience in identifying and reporting defects and tracking them within appropriate test management tools.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to foster positive team relationships through collaboration, teamwork, and good communication skills.
