AUTOCOLOURS is looking for SEVERAL technicians to join the team!
We have a fantastic opportunity available to work for the most reputable Mobile Automotive Paint and Wheel repair specialist in Canberra. AUTOCOLOURS PTY LTD is a family owned and operated business, that services Canberra, Queanbeyan and surrounding areas including the South and the Mid North Coast.
From our fully equipped, state of the art vehicles, to our CNC wheel lathe, wheel straightening and hydro blasting capabilities in our workshop located in Queabeyan. AUTOCOLOURS PTY LTD has all aspects of automotive paint and wheel repairs covered.
In this role you will:
- Mix and match multiple paint formats.
- Conduct minor cosmetic repairs to plastic, metal and alloy.
- Apply coatings by spray painting, brush touching and two stage protection application.
- Use an array of handheld tools, as well as repair machinery.
- Maintain and clean your supplied work van, tools and uniforms.
- Deal one on one with both retail and trade customers.
- Be provided with secure and long-term employment.
To be successful in this role you will be required to:
- Be polite and professional whilst talking to and working for, both Private and Trade industry.
- Be clean and tidy in your appearance whilst representing Autocolours;
- Hold a current and valid Australian driver license.
- Enjoy being part of a small fast paced team and environment.
- Excellent eye for detail.
- Be willing to undergo and be able to pass without restriction Drug & Alcohol Testing and Pre-Employment Fitness Assessment.
- Have the right to live and work in Australia.
- Competently and safely use a range of power tools.
- Be a quick learner with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Carry out the requirements of the role without supervision.
- Work with the safety of yourself and your colleagues in mind at all times, whilst adhering to (Environment/work safe standards and practices).
- Have excellent customer service skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Be a problem solver and not afraid to ask questions.
- Ability to follow directions and instruction.
Experience is not an essential as ALL training will be provided both on site and in the workshop.
This is a full-time role 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday
