Automotive Counter Sales Person

The 4WD Shed is looking to add another member to our team. With our ever-growing workshop & retail, we need to employ an Automotive Counter Sales Person to be a part of our team.

Responsibilities within the job include
Answering Phone Queries & Retail Sales
Booking jobs & working with our mechanics
Sourcing & Ordering Parts
Use & Operate Internal Computer Systems
Use POS System for In-Store Retail Sales
What we would like you to bring to the job
Great Customer Service.
Be able to prioritise tasks to work both independently & also in a team.
Automotive background, though not required, is desirable or a passion for all things 4WD.
Professionalism when dealing with customers.
Thirst for knowledge & willingness to expand knowledge through further training opportunities.
Ability to help educate our customers on products relevant to their vehicles.

A huge part of the job is fielding phone enquiries on parts & quote requests. We require someone who is comfortable in speaking to suppliers & customers to complete tasks in a timely manner. We sell our services & products on a number of platforms. There will be phone orders & product queries to be attended to as well as walk-in customers.

We will provide ongoing development & training as required; an automotive background is desired but a passion for learning & the industry is acceptable. Attention to detail & presentation is another one of our key points as we work with our customers. We have a large & varied clientele & do a large range of mechanical work from everyday servicing to out of the box builds on both brand new & vintage 4WDs.
We are a small business located in Bayswater Victoria. We are only open weekdays, keeping your weekends free & we would like someone to be full-time, though hours could be adjusted for the right person.
