About your new role:This is your opportunity to play an influential role in the upkeep of our Distribution Network by applying your automotive electrical expertise to support our fleet.A core component of this role will be auto electrical maintenance of our Mobile Elevated Working Platform’s (MEWP) by contributing to the MEWP rebuild schedule. You may have seen them around working on our poles and wires!You’ll also be involved with the planned / unplanned auto electrical maintenance of a range of plant, including Vehicle Loading Cranes (VLC), lifter borers and heavy vehicles.Annual salary ranges from $101,800.00 to $105,001.00 + Super; 9-day fortnight. About you:As an
Automotive Electrician you will have:
- Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology (Trade Qualified)
- Experience with reading and marking up wiring diagrams is essential.
- Queensland Drivers License ‘C’ class is essential (manual is desirable).
- At least 5 years tradesman experience in an operational / field role as an Automotive Electrician working with MEWP’s is desirable. Electric industry experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Auto Electrical experience with a range of plant including VLC’s, lifter borers, HV trucks and similar heavy equipment.
- HR class license, EWP, slewing mobile crane, basic hydraulics / fluid power certifications or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in radio remote control systems and CAN networks is desirable.
- A team player with a safety first mindset - communicating job analysis, fault finding outcomes, recommendations and time estimates for each job to the work group.
You will be required to complete a pre-employment medical.
