With a well-established clientele and reputation, this RTO delivers workplace based training and due to continued growth, they are now seeking to engage a Trainer to deliver Certificate III Engineering - Fixed and Mobile Plant Mechanic.
You will train and develop apprentices undertaking training in a trade college in Melbourne.
On a day to day basis your role will include:
* Facilitating learning in the workplace across the Melbourne-metro area.
* Provide support to the students throughout their course
* Provide ongoing individual support and tutoring
* Telephone and email support
* Review/evaluate training programs as requested
* Review/evaluate assessment processes and modify as requested
* Upgrading and keeping resources abreast with changes in the industry
The ideal person for this role will have the following skills and experience:
* Certificate III Engineering Mechanical or Automotive Heavy Vehicle - Mobile Plant
* A Certificate IV in Workplace Training/TAE is essential prior to starting in the role
* Current or recent experience working with apprentices
* The ability to work with students from various backgrounds
