Mechanicare Noosa is a work-life balance based business (closed Saturday and Sunday; closed between Christmas and New Years; Team Members working 4 days per week - live on the Sunshine Coast AND have the time to enjoy everything it has to offer).
We are a local family-owned business in Noosaville, are an independent RACQ Approved Repairer for the area, and we need to add to our existing team.
Our team has decades of experience in Mechanical Repairs and Servicing, and Auto Air Conditioning Repairs and Maintenance. We are a client-centric business, focused on creating a positive experience for our clients by maximising the service we offer and value we add, and by building long lasting relationships based on integrity and honesty.

Qualifications & experience
- Trade Qualified Light Vehicle Automotive Mechanic - ESSENTIAL
- Good computer and tablet skills - ESSENTIAL
- The ability to communicate clearly with all workshop team members, Office Manager and clients - ESSENTIAL
- Auto Air Conditioning experience, particularly diagnostics and troubleshooting - DESIRABLE
- Auto electrical knowledge and scan tool diagnostic capabilities beyond that of a 'standard' light vehicle mechanic - DESIRABLE
- Possess Refrigerant Handling Licence (RHL), or the ability to obtain - DESIRABLE
- Current AIS Approved Examiner (Motor vehicles up to 4.5t GVM, Motor vehicles up to 4.5t ATM (CL), Trailers over 0.75t up to 4.5t ATM, Trailers or semitrailers over 4.5t ATM, and Motorcycles) or the ability to obtain - DESIRABLE
Tasks & responsibilities
- Work on a variety of makes and models, including 4-wheel drives and light commercial vehicles, hybrid and EV
- Mechanical diagnostics, maintenance and repairs
- Auto air conditioning diagnostics, maintenance and repairs
- Safety Certificates & Certificates of Inspection
- Auto electrical diagnostics and repairs
