This new and exciting role sits in the Performance and Planning team within the Consumer division. The Performance & Planning team is responsible for ensuring we achieve subscription volume and revenue targets across News Corp Australia’s core brands, which includes The Australian, The Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun, The Courier-Mail and The Advertiser as well as our regional and rural mastheads.
The Performance Analyst role is responsible for providing actionable insight, analysis and reporting to help inform subscription growth and performance optimisation.
What’s the role?
- Be the champion of data for the Planning & Performance team
- Seek, find and execute opportunities to grow revenue, reduce subscriber churn, and deliver efficiencies
- Analyse data and interpret trends/patterns to identify strategic commercial opportunities
- Deep dive into the detailed performance of our subscription products to drive acquisition and retention
- Undertake timely performance reporting and analysis vs targeted plan
- Share updates and insights with the relevant internal stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with the Finance and pricing teams to deliver Performance & Planning outcomes
- Highly analytical with the ability to deep dive into data to identify and interpret trends, insights and revenue drivers
- Advanced Excel skills
- Self-starting - takes independent action with a willingness to learn
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Open to various levels of experience - entry level considered
