We are seeking an Automotive Spray Painter to join our family owned and operated business. Colour Bar is a well-respected mobile business servicing dealerships in Brisbane and surrounding suburbs. We carry out minor repairs to bumper bars, panels and wheels, priding ourselves on delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction.
We are looking for a self-motivated and well presented Automotive Spray Painter to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for repairing damaged bumpers, panels & wheels across a range of vehicles.
Applicant requirements and responsibilities:
- Must have Own Vehicle and Drivers License
- Proven experience as an Automotive Spray Painter
- Experience with air and power tools
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, and detailed masking.
- Mix paint colours to match the required finish and apply paint using various blending techniques when spraying.
- Knowledge of different automotive paints, finishes, and paint systems
- Prep & repair work to both alloy and machine finish wheels.
- Good time management skills and able to multitask.
- Ability to operate and maintain spray painting equipment effectively
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to work in a safe manner
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Self motivated and takes initiative
- Honest, trustworthy and reliable
- Works well in a team and unattended
