Our client, located just 20 minutes from Mission Beach in the picturesque Tully/Mission Beach Region, is seeking a Trade Qualified Automotive Mechanic to join their team.They offer an excellent opportunity for those looking to make a 'sea' change while pursuing a rewarding career in the automotive industry. They value work-life balance and offer a full-time position (38 hours per week, Monday-Friday) with occasional overtime and weekend work as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general mechanical servicing and repairs on various vehicles.
- Diagnose and test vehicle faults efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date qualifications, including a Current RWC and Air-conditioning license (beneficial but not essential).
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and follow instructions.
- Work effectively both in a team and independently.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and industry standards.
- Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics.
- Own tools for the job.
- Current open driver's license.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- Will consider 3rd and 4th apprentices.
