AddressWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Technician or Diagnosis Technician to join a dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in automotive repair and maintenance, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities. As an Auto Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle issues, conducting routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
This opportunity is with leading brands like VW, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Jaguar LandRover, Toyota at prestigious dealerships across Australia.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the role involves you being a leader in driving high quality vehicle servicing and maintenance including but not limited to
- Accurately identifying and reporting on service, repair, and warranty work
- Carry out minor and major services to manufacturer and dealership specifications.
- Trouble shoot and conduct Diagnostics across a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
- Perform road testing and conduct quality control check assessments
- Maintain a safe working environment ensuring the correct operation of tools and specialized equipment
- Contribute to the positive team culture and overall guest experience
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2-3 Years’ experience working in a large busy workshop or dealership environment
- Ability to work autonomously and collectively as part of a large team
- Knowledge and mechanical experience to service, repair, diagnose across a wide range of makes and models
- Ability to problem solve, work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to a job done right the first time
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Full Trade Motor Mechanic Qualifications
- A Current Australian Driver’s License
