Flight Training Adelaide’s campus is located at Parafield Airport on the northern suburbs of Adelaide in South Australia.
FTA has dedicated teams of Instructors responsible for teaching students’ Aviation Theory training, this allows for specialised tuition. Individual specialisation ensures all employees teach in their chosen field while allowing them to hone their particular skills.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Ground Training Instructor position is responsible for the preparation, delivery and assessment of Aviation Theory subjects at commercial airline level, to cadet pilots undergoing training at FTA.
We are seeking to recruit individuals with aviation teaching experience to work as part of an established and successful team, teaching Aviation Theory from Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL) to Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL) level. This is a Casual job with a potential Full-time position.
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
Required
- Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116, or a diploma or higher for an Australian qualification in adult education or a CASA Part 61 Flight Instructor Licence.
- Have delivered Aviation Theory courses at CPL or ATPL level.
- Have technical Aviation Theory training background.
- Have a high-level interpersonal skill and the persons must be able to work with limited supervision, in a dynamic environment.
Desirable
- The applicant will possess good levels of computer skills and communication skills.
- Experience from civil, military or an aviation/educational training background.
