Green Light WorldWide are currently looking for experienced and driven Azure Cloud Engineer to join our delivery team in Brisbane. As a Cloud Azure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our Azure-based solutions to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
 
Responsibilities

• Recent hands-on experience in the Azure cloud platform focusing on automation in large, intricate environments.
• Create and upkeep automation scripts (like PowerShell and ARM templates) to enhance deployment procedures and adhere to infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
• Oversee Azure resources like virtual machines, storage accounts, networks, and databases.
• Responsible for deploying, managing, and supporting cloud-based solutions.
• Research and engineer innovative monitoring solutions to enhance system and application performance.
• Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and similar.
• Review network and application performance, deploying necessary enhancements into relevant environments.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and deploy cloud-based solutions.

Requirements

• Proficient in both Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS), with a particular emphasis on integrations such as App Services and containers.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Demonstrated capability to remain current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our cloud platform.
• Comprehensive grasp of networking, security, and infrastructure concepts within cloud environments, encompassing elements like VNETs, Network Security Groups, routing, firewalls, and more.
• Practical involvement in overseeing Jira or ServiceNow incidents and change management processes.
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD, GitHub, Terraform IaC, Ansible, or BitBucket.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
