SalaryEmanate Technology have partnered with a federal government department dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that serve the public interest. Looking to migrate their applications to the Azure cloud platform, they are currently seeking an experience Cloud Engineer to join their Cloud Initiatives team on a 12-month contract basis.
As a key member of the migration project, you will play a crucial role in transitioning existing applications to the Azure cloud environment, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
This position is based in ACT and requires an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and AGSVA Security Clearance due to the nature of the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Azure cloud application migration projects, ensuring the successful transition of critical systems.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to assess requirements, develop, and implement migration strategies.
- Utilise your expertise in Azure cloud services and tools to design and implement scalable and efficient migration solutions.
- Implement best practices for security, monitoring, and disaster recovery within the Azure environment.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues throughout the migration lifecycle.
What you will need:
- Proven experience in Azure cloud platform, with a focus on application migration projects.
- Strong proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Storage.
- In-depth understanding of cloud migration methodologies
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance or above required
