B-Double / Semi Truck Drivers

Who we are looking for

We are currently looking for B-Double / Semi Drivers to join our team in our facility located at our Bankstown site. Full time week plus additional O/T hours and week-end coverage when required.

Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, the successful candidates will be responsible for transporting general freight to various locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. You will operate well maintained prime movers equipped with the modern technology and your commitment to adhering to road safety regulations and delivering goods with utmost care will be vital to our success as a company.

What your days would look like?

Key functions (but not limited to):

• Safely and efficiently operate a B-Double or Semi to transport general freight in the Sydney area.
• Comply with all National Heavy Vehicle Regulations and road safety laws.
• Conduct pre-start and post-delivery inspections to ensure the vehicle's safety and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Plan routes effectively to ensure on-time deliveries and efficient fuel consumption
• Load and unload goods securely, ensuring proper handling 
• Maintain accurate work diary records of working hours, rest breaks, and any incidents or accidents
• Communicate effectively with management and provide updates on delivery status
• Maintain a clean and organised truck, inside and out
• Foster a positive and professional relationship with clients and other road users

 Do you tick these boxes?

• Valid MC Drivers Licence
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a B-Double driver (manual desired)
• Rail pin, container transport experience
• Safe driving record and a demonstrated commitment to road safety
• Side loader experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and team members effectively
• Strong physical stamina to handle loading/unloading and driving for extended periods
• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Must pass a drug and alcohol test prior to commencement
