We also deploy medical professionals and aircraft in support of defence, government and commercial contracts, and energy and resource sector sites. 

The role

We currently have an excellent opportunity in 2024 for pilots (flying Beechcraft B200, King Air aircraft) to work as part of our integrated crew at our NSW bases (Sydney and Newcastle).

You will have the opportunity to work with a team of committed professionals, be part of a leading aeromedical organisation and enjoy a roster that provides work / life balance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting all flight operations to the highest industry standards;
  • Actively participating in the processes used by CareFlight to organise and manage effective flight operations;
  • Maintaining a high level of systems knowledge on the aircraft operated;
  • Participating actively in the company safety program; and
  • Participating actively in the company ground training programs.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

  • CPL (A) – held for minimum 5 years
  • Class 1 Civil Aviation Medical
  • 2,000 hours total
  • 1,500 hours Pilot in Command
  • 500 hours turbine engine aircraft
  • 500 hours multi-engine PIC
  • 100 hours PIC at night
  • MEA class rating
  • Minimum 3 CIRR / IPC on airplanes; and
  • Australian Resident Status.

The following will also be highly regarded:

  • ATPL (A).
  • Proline 21 EFIS experience.
  • Garmin EFIS experience.
  • King Air Series type experience.
  • Extensive Single Pilot IFR background.
  • NSW Area operational experience.
  • Air Ambulance experience.
  • Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
