About the role

You will be responsible for selling Optus products to NEW business customers.

Optus Business Centre Gold Coast has a strong presence in the Telecommunications and ICT industry, servicing Small & Medium businesses. We provide each client with a comprehensive whole of business solution, ongoing servicing, and dedicated Account Management.

We are extremely passionate about growing our customer base and we are looking for highly talented and motivated Sales Professionals to complement our current team. The role will be suitable for individuals who are self-motivated and possess a tenacious drive to succeed.

Job tasks and responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying new sales opportunities with future Optus customers
  • Building and nurturing relationships
  • Developing and maintaining a full sales pipeline
  • Presenting offers 
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs each month
  • Continuously improving product knowledge and sales skills
  • Being an advocate of the Optus brand

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate or have the following:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • Sales experience 
  • Ability to build rapport with business clients and maintain an ongoing relationship 
  • Strong business acumen (advantageous)
  • Must be self-driven/motivated, punctual, honest, and reliable
  • Extremely energetic with impeccable time management skills
  • Previous Optus or other Telco experience would be considered an advantage but not essential
