Due to the continued growth and success of the business, we are excited to invite a fit, reliable, self-motivated team player to join our one of a kind team and operate our Bagging Plant based at our Salisbury South production facility.
Are you this person?The position is responsible for safely, efficiently and effectively performing bagging activities at the Salisbury South processing plant, and some of the key duties include:
- Operate a Bagging Plant (production of 20kg bags).
- Ability to meet the physical demands of repetitive tasks and manual labour.
- Monitor machines and minor repairs using hand and power tools.
- Ensure safety in the workplace and safe work practices.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift preferred but not necessary.
- Working within a team environment to ensure smooth production.
- Maintain tidy work area.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
To be part of our Team we require the following:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably bagging industry) is desirable however on the job training will be provided.
- Demonstrate production machine experience.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with positive and open communication skills.
- Hold current driver’s licence.
- Forklift Licence (LF) would be an advantage
