We are currently seeking applications for a Baker to join our Bread production team. There is a full-time position available for Day shift. This is a 24/7 operation and rosters include working on weekends.
This role requires you to operate automated equipment in a fast pace high volume environment. You will be standing on your feet for long periods of time, and the general duties involve operating large-scale equipment, some manual handling (Lifting, pushing, pulling) and data entry.
Available Shift Pattern:
- Full-Time: Mon (1:00am - 11:00am), Tues & Wed (5:00am - 3:00pm) & Thurs (3:00am - 1:00pm).
You will be responsible for:
- Working as part of a collaborative team.
- Contribute to efficient operations and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensuring the safety of all persons on site.
- Ensuring the quality of all products manufactured on site.
- The daily operations of machinery and equipment to ensure it is operating correctly.
- Ensure all products are manufactured in accordance with the relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and made to correct specification.
About You:
- Baking / dough making experience.
- A safety mindset with a strong commitment to ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and for your colleagues.
- Experience working within a team environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Cleaning experience desirable for Sanitation positions.
- Experience using cleaning chemicals desirable for Sanitation positions.
- Own car and license.
- Food processing background highly regarded.
