Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Baker/Pie Maker to join our talented baking team and help us continue our tradition of excellence in pie making. As a pie baker, your primary responsibility will be creating our signature pies from scratch, ensuring each one is made with care and attention to detail. Additionally, you will be required to assist our bread bakers with bread making at the end of your shift. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare pie crusts and fillings according to established recipes and quality standards

· Roll out dough and assemble pies with precision and consistency

· Bake pies to perfection, monitoring oven temperatures and bake times

· Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following all food safety and hygiene guidelines

· Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding ingredient needs

· Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and fulfill customer orders

· Assist with other bakery tasks as needed, including assisting the bread bakers

Requirements:

· Previous experience as a baker or Pie Maker preferred

· Strong knowledge of baking techniques, including pastry dough preparation and pie assembly

· Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

· Creativity and artistic flair for decorating pies

· Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

· Food Handler's Certificate

Benefits:

Full Time Salary: $55,000 - 65,000p.a. + Super

Monday to Thursday: 12pm – 8pm, Friday: 6pm-12am
