Support Australia's only Paper Production Plant. 

We are looking for a Shift Services Coordinator for our onsite Water Treatment Plant in a full-time position (shiftwork). This is an opportunity for someone with strong people and leadership skills to support a small team within Our Mill while coordinating and optimising steam production, Water Treatment and effluent plants. You will monitor and maintain health, safety, environment, quality, productivity and cost performances in your area while contributing to continuous improvement and technical capability of our team. This role is also crucial in leading and coordinating the Boyer Mill Shift Emergency Response Team both in training and event response. This position mixes outdoor, hands-on work with planning, coordinating and leadership for a diverse and interesting opportunity. 

What you need to succeed

  • Strong people and leadership skills
  • Ability to do 12-hour shiftwork on a rotating 4 shift roster of nights and days
  • Experience with Water Treatment systems such as pumps, chemical dosing systems and sewerage / effluent treatment
  • Experience operating under Environmentally sustainable practices 
  • Willingness to participate in Emergency Response Team Training
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills 
  • Positive communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated initiative
  • Water treatment Certificate III desirable but not essential
  • Ability to wear full face masks to operate and control liquified chlorine gas disinfection where necessary
