We are seeking the following position:- Our ideal candidate will have:- Enthusiasm, creativity and a passion for the trade Team player Well organized and even tempered Ability to perform duties in a physical environment What we will offer you in return:- Competitive wages A friendly team environment Staff discount and meal Free car park Job Type: Full-time Task & Responsibilities Create various pastries and other confections by following recipes Decorate pastries using a variety of different icings and toppings Order new supplies, ingredients, and equipment for the kitchen’s pastry section Prepare ingredients and handle baking equipment Create and design custom-made desserts and pastries according to client specifications Monitor the stock of baking ingredients and equipment Qualification & Experience Extensive knowledge of baking and pastry-making techniques Artistic skill in decorating desserts In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles and food preparation standards Strong leadership skills and an ability to provide clear instructions to other members of the pastry staff Familiarity with a range of baking and other kitchen equipment Excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for teamwork At least 2 years work relevant experience Certificate III or higher qualifications About Company
