Bakery Administration

We are seeking a well-organized and reliable Administration Assistant to join our small team.

We are a busy cupcake/cake shop looking for an enthusiastic individual with great customer service and communication skills.

This is a casual position, offering approximately 25 - 30 hours a week with the potential for full time employment & job progression to management.

The candidate will be required to work 3 - 4 days a week.

(No weekend work, No public Holiday work, Closed for Christmas)

7am starts

Mount Hawthorn Location

This position includes, but is not limited to the following duties:

• Extensive data entry – Processing and placement of orders in a timely manner.
• Providing excellent customer service to our clients;
• Taking cake/cupcake orders
• Money handling
• Creative flair to design custom cakes/cupcakes
• Opening & closing store if required
• Monitor the orders email and responding email and phone enquiries;
• Prepare delivery schedules
• Other general office duties including printing, filing, typing, archiving, etc.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A friendly and bubbly personality
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Capacity to work independently and show initiative.
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities.

Qualifications:

• Cake/Bakery knowledge is a bonus.
• Previous experience in Office Administration is desired, however not a mus
