The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be responsible for providing passenger and baggage screening services at the airport. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team which builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Passenger & checked baggage screening
- Manage screening at security checkpoints within the airport
- Respond to all enquiries
- Complete reports
- Certificate II in Security Operations – must be willing to obtain
- Certificate II in Transport Security Protection
- Aviation training qualification provided for suitable candidates – Certificate II Transport Security Protection
- NSW Security Licence; 1A as a minimum – must be willing to obtain
- ASIC clearance or able to obtain
- NSW driver licence
- Ability to successfully pass a Drug & Alcohol screening
- Availability to work a 24/7 roster
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
