AddressWe are seeking a reliable and experienced nanny to assist a lovely professional family in Balmain. The nanny will be responsible for caring for their 4 year old girl(Almost 5).
The days and normal hours are 2 days - 6 hours per week
Tuesday and Friday - 2.30pm- 5.30pm
Additional shifts on a Monday and Thursday may be offered for the right candidate .
Note: Driving essential -Drivers licence required and own car
A nanny that has a genuine love of children and has cared for preschoolers before and takes the initiative to occupy time depending on the mood/situation of the child.
The family is looking for a nanny who adapts well, is patient, responsible, trustworthy, reliable/punctual and can commit to the role on a long term basis, building a lovely relationship with the whole family.
The afternoon will involve picking the child up from preschool, bringing her home and and then doing some activity to keep her amused i.e. (park, drawing, puzzle, television, games etc).
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- Care for the child
- Provide routine and structure
- Pick up from preschool
- Assist with light household duties -Unpack and stack dishwasher and tidying etc - only if time permits
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- Prior experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Toddler/Preschool experience essential
- Display strong communication skills and speak good English
- Full drivers licence and clean driving record plus own car
- Non Smoker/vaper
