As Banquet Supervisor you’ll coordinate Conference & Events ensuring quality service and standards are maintained to deliver a memorable guest experience, while always following government regulations concerning health, safety or other requirements.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Meet with clients to understand their event requirements, including budget, guest count, menu preferences, and any special requests.
Assist in selecting event dates, times, and suitable banquet rooms or spaces within the venue.
Help manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for events. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate expectations and updates.
Oversee aspects of event setup, including room layout, decorations, audio-visual equipment, and table arrangements.
Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in working order and that the venue is clean and well-maintained.
Coordinate with the kitchen and catering teams to ensure the timely preparation and service of food and beverages.
What We need from you:
Higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field
1+ years’ related experience, including supervisory experience.
Available across a 7 day roster
Must obtain certifications or permits as required by local governmental agencies.
