Address Cable Beach Backpackers are seeking 2-3 full-time experienced and enthusiastic Bar Attendants, for our bar in Broome, Western Australia. Salary $65,900 to $75,000.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Clean the bar service area, tables, glassware.
• Handle payments / operate point of sale (cash registers, POS software).
• Manage kegs and maintain supply lines.
• Order, maintain, and conduct regular stocktakes of bar inventory to ensure adequate supply levels and minimise waste
• Replenish fridges and shelf stock.
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain hygiene practices and comply with OHS standards.
• Assist waiting staff when required.
• Assist with accommodation and room bookings when required.
• Other general bar and accommodation duties as required.
Essential
• Hold a WA Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification.
• Ensure a welcoming and energetic atmosphere for guests.
• Live in Broome
• Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time bar experience.
• Good English language skills.
• Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a suitable work visa.
• Be able to work weekends and evenings.
• Have a professional attitude.
• Clean police record.
Desired
• Experience working in remote areas.
• Valid drivers licence.
• Having language skills in German, French, Spanish or Italian would be an extreme advantage.
• Can relate to the backpacker lifestyle.
Other information
• Drug and alcohol testing may be conducted by the employer.
• Candidates must be prepared to live in Broome and work full-time.
