In our new venue we are looking for additional employees for the Bar Attendant position
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers, taking orders and serving beverages promptly and accurately.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following recipes and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses, utensils, and equipment.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or complaints.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both customers and staff.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on current beverage trends and menu offerings to provide an enhanced experience for customers.
Qualifications:
- Old School Hospitality Service Skills.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including their ingredients and preparation methods.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required certifications or licenses.
