As a Lead Applications Engineer - Drilling and Completions Fluids, you will deliver applications design that maximizes our opportunity to meet the job objectives in line with the contract terms. You will work seamlessly together with the Service Delivery Coordinator as well as other resources across organizational boundaries to ensure all aspects and constraints of the application are understood.
As a Lead Applications Engineer - Drilling and Completions Fluids, you will be responsible for:
Providing technical expertise and develops technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) as part of the pre-ITO (requisition) process while interfacing with the commercial team.
Possessing a deep understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value that aid winning bid strategies.
Providing technical analysis of client need: definition and optimization of the products; scope; schedule; industrial scheme; cost, considering contract, internal policies and procedures.
Preparing calculation of plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency and documentation of technical specifications & costing elements for further contract execution phases, including OTR part.
Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
Communicating across direct organization. Presents to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
Connecting the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business. Communicates across the function in area of expertise
Required Qualifications
Have Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Engineering/Technology).
Have minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Customer Application Engineering.
Have good written and oral communication skills.
Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Have ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
Have ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Have effective problem identification and solution skills with proven analytical and organizational ability
