ROLE @ Austral Meat
We are looking for an experienced and committed barista. This role will be based inside our brand new butcher store at Gepps Cross.
This role is set across Tuesday - Saturday.
Weekday shifts are 9am - 5pm
Saturday is from 8am – 4.30pm.
There is some flexibility around start and finish times, but this is a rough guide.
The barista will be responsible for everything related to the coffee machine, its maintenance and ordering of stock (beans, cups and milk etc). The person will also be responsible for:
*operating the cashier during peak times
*keeping all rubs fully stocked and taking care of ordering from suppliers
*pricing and restocking of smallgoods
We require someone who understands the importance of food safety and hygiene within our workplace. From our factory we serve food service customers, supermarkets and we also have a retail butcher shop. Working inside the shop on the coffee machine, will still require you to have an understanding of food safety and hygiene and stock rotation.
