Based in Springvale, Melbourne, we are looking for a reliable individual to join our friendly manufacturing team as a Batch Mixing Operator.
This role will be responsible for the precise mixing of ingredients to create high-quality skincare products and is crucial in ensuring Synergie Skin’s exceptional standards for safety, quality, and efficiency are met.
The role
This role will be responsible for mixing batches based on formulations in accordance with quality standards. This will include:
- Prepare equipment in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and relevant SOP’s (Standard Operating Systems).
- Carry out manufacturing as per the Job Sheet to accurately weigh and compound raw materials according to formulas.
- Comply with all general safety directions for the workplace and those prescribed on the Job Sheets.
- Ensure all raw materials are handled and stored in accordance with quality guidelines.
- Operate and monitor mixing equipment, ensuring safety and consistent product quality.
You will need:
To be successful in this role you will need the following characteristics and capabilities:
- Must be able to lift - 25 kgs regularly.
- Previous experience in a similar Cosmetics/Pharmaceutical/Food/FMCG environment (Desirable but not essential)
- Sound mechanical aptitude (Desirable but not essential)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions, processes, and procedures.
- A positive and engaging attitude
- Good level of physical fitness
