We are a leading Asphalt manufacturer in the region. We manufacture and supply Asphalt and related products for the maintenance and repair of roads and associated infrastructure.
The companies main office is located at 68 Vivian st, Boulder WA. 6432.
The Batch Plant is located approx. 5kms east of the city of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

Total Asphalt invites you to apply for the position of Batch Plant Technician. The primary purpose of this position is to assist with the safe day to day running of the Batch Plant.
Reporting to the Batch Cabin/Plant Senior Technician your duties will include:
- Assisting the Batch Cabin/Plant Senior Technician with all aspects of the safe manufacture of bituminous products. (training provided where required).
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Troubleshooting and repairing minor issues with the plant.
- Performing routine inspections, test and calibrations on the plant and reporting any deviations or problems to the supervisor.
- Operating a telehandler loading ags into hoppers.
- Operating other light equipment as required ie; Bobcat, mobile crusher etc.
- Keeping the plant, yard and equipment in a neat and tidy state.
- Stocktakes.
The successful candidate should possess the following:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Pro-active, self starter capable of working in a small team
- Valid ‘C’ class drivers license
- A minimum of two years experience in operating and maintaining asphalt Batch Plants.- preferable but not necessary.
- A strong work ethic including a commitment to work safety, attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Experience on Loaders/Bobcats desirable - but not necessary
- Own transport
- MUST reside locally in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
This position is a permanent role, working a minimum 5 day week.
Following an initial interview, a full Medical plus a Drug and Alcohol screen will also form part of the recruitment process.
