My client is a small to medium rental player in the market with a fleet of 60 machines. They have been running a successful operation for the past 5 years and are knowing looking to employee someone that wants to be a part of growing business unit. They have a number of reputable brands on board plus a small but professional outfit in Newcastle NSW.
In this newly created role you will be reporting directly to the Managing Director who will also be mentoring you and giving your hands on training to make sure that your succeed in the role. Starting with winning key clients throughout Newcastle and central Coast. You’re to focus on the building and construction sectors plus medium to large contractor market. You will be given a territory and your to source and track down key managers / decision makers to gain and build there earthmoving fleets. Cold calling is major aspect of this role along with account management and relationship development. The key goal is to get 100% utilization of fleet out to key projects within Northern NSW.
You will need to have the following skills to work in this industry –
- 2 – 3 years in Industrial or Construction Hire
- Excellent listing and communications skills
- Willingness to work the extra mile
- Trade qualified or understand technical products
- Sales mentality with clear passion for sales
- Team player
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment

On offer is base salary of $110,000 - $120,000 + fully maintained company car + fuel Card + Super + commission.
