SalaryBeauty Therapist – Ology CBR
- $28 - $35+ per hour (permanent rate of pay). This position is open to highly skilled Therapists as well as passionate recent graduates wanting to learn. Your pay rate will be based on your current skills and regular pay rises with increased skills. We’re big on rewarding growth.

- A Monday – Friday role with only 1 Saturday (8am-2pm) per month. We’re open 8am-8pm Monday-Friday and have flexibility with days/hours (Full time or Part time) to suit you. **We ideally would love someone who can work 2 or more late nights per week.
- A dual waxing/skin focussed role: 60% waxing services, 40% skin services.

Our owner, Katelyn, opened Ology 8 months ago and we are THRIVING! Having worked as a Beauty Therapist for 8 years, Ology was born from a need in the market: a need for a truly collaborative space where there’s no hierarchy, everyone’s voice matters and growth and change is encouraged and supported.
Our Treatment Menu
We offer approximately 60% waxing services (face, body and brazilian) and 40% skin services (facials, IPL [rejuvenation and hair removal], chemical peels, polydermabrasion, carbon facials, skin tightening, and LED) as well as some beauty services including brows, lashes (including eyelash extensions), tattoo removal and tanning.
Plus, we’re open to adding new treatments to our menu if there’s something you’d like to introduce that you’re passionate about.
Who Are We Seeking?
Whether you’re a highly skilled therapist or a recent Beauty Therapy graduate (minimum “ability to perform waxing services certificate”) – the main attributes we’re looking for are passion, motivation and a team-player, and someone who thrives on creating great relationships with their clients and their team. Ideally, we’d love for you to be a really confident waxer at a minimum, but our motto is ‘we can train skills, we can’t train personality, motivation and work ethic’.
Hours: This is a Monday – Friday role with 1 Saturday (8am-2pm) per month.
- Choose from Full time or Part time hours – flexible employment arrangement.
- We’re open 8am-8pm Monday-Friday and are flexible with days/times.
- Ideally, we’re wanting someone to commit to 2 or more late nights per week.
Pay Rate: $28 - $35+ per hour (depending on current level of skills and experience).
We don’t believe in KPI’s – yes, you read that right! We don’t believe in pushing services and products which might not be right for our clients. Instead, we reward you by increasing your hourly rate as you increase your personal skillset, client retention and service base. We reward growth and customer satisfaction, not your ability to ‘sell’.
Location: Jamison Plaza shopping centre, Macquarie ACT (free all-day onsite parking & easily accessible by public transport).
