Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our PBS and leadership teams to uphold exemplary standards of work in compliance with legislative requirements and best practices.
- Mentor and collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team to optimise participant outcomes through shared expertise and innovative approaches.
- Engage participants, families, and carers in community-based settings to identify individual needs using a person-centered approach, tailoring interventions to enhance well-being and achieve personal goals.
- Develop and implement Behaviour Support services in alignment with the NDIS safeguards framework, prioritizing positive behaviour change and minimising restrictive practices.
- Develop individualised plans that reflect participants' goals, passions, and strengths, fostering engagement in meaningful activities and promoting overall quality of life.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in positive Behaviour Support Clinical Supervision, demonstrating proficiency in strategy development and implementation.
- Experience in providing clinical supervision to PBS practitioners; including providing clinical guidance in developing Behaviour Support plans, particularly those including restrictive practices.
- Relevant qualification in allied health or social care, with eligibility to register with the appropriate membership body.
- Registration with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission as a Advanced or Specialist level Behaviour Support Practitioner, showcasing expertise in service delivery.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in NDIS Behaviour Support requirements, with a track record of meeting deadlines and implementing effective plans.
- Proven experience working with diverse clients, including children, adults, and families facing complex needs, showcasing your ability to provide empathetic and effective support.
- Proficiency in providing supervision via technology or in-person sessions, with a commitment to accessibility and inclusivity for practitioners in all locations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to supervise both new and experienced practitioners, maintain professional standards, and navigate complex ethical dilemmas with integrity.
- Experience delivering services under the NDIS, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of the NDIS framework.
- Passion for leadership in the field, dedicated to delivering evidence-based interventions that drive positive outcomes.
- Possession of a driver's license and full access to a vehicle for flexible transportation.
- National police clearance and working with children check, or the ability to obtain them, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and participant safety.
